Wherever wildebeests migration is at far northern Serengeti, Mara river , Grumeti river, Lobo area, Seronera or Ndutu, you are going there for it. Wildebeests migration involves millions of wildebeests, zebra and thousands predators matching on long line in search of green pastures dictate by seasonal rainfall between two different region strips of equatorial and tropical country sides. If you are lucky experience Grumeti or Mara crossing wildlife adventures normally in late July to August in the far northern Serengeti. Late evening return to your campsite.

Lake Natron is famous as flamingos breeding field in East Africa especially from August to early November, when in season. Early morning drive to the lake shore to spot flamingos, lake Natron is soda lake. Other activities includes a visit to Maasai Boma, Engaresero waterfalls while you having a great view on active volcanic mount Oldonyo Lengai (Mountain of God). Late evening celebrate sunset around 18:00pm while on way back to overnight at the Ngorongoro Crater rim with you pop-up roof land cruiser open.

Ngorongoro Crater is home of big five animals. Ngorongoro crater will be you East Africa safari conclusion. At 6:30am immerse yourself while your camera on hand searching for lions hunting, leopard, buffalo ,hippopotami might be back from hunting, the grasses might be wet, everything look beautiful. When in season also you can see flamingos in plenty over lake Magadi inside the crater. Afternoon ascend the crater rim back to Arusha Centre with en-route game searching via Mto wa Mbu.

How to get there: Arrival by airplane

We recommend our clients to book your flights to arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK). Transfer from and to this airport is included. Rhino Explorer Tours & Safaris will pick you up at the airport.


A reservation requires a deposit of 100% of the total price or 10% and other cash on the date of arrival.

Safari extension:

You can opt to extend this safari with either 7 days Kilimanjaro trekking via Machame route (7 days + 8 days ) to 15 days tour. Secondly opt to combine with 9 days Ngorongoro highland hiking tour (7 days + 9 days) to be 16 days tour.
